HH Visits Américas Restaurant (a Cordúa Restaurant)

Chef David Cordúa hosted Homemade Hope's children at Américas Restaurant for an incredible family-style lunch where children experienced the vibrant ingredients and flavors of Latin American cuisine. After lunch, Cordúa himself taught the children how to make empanadas, allowing each to make his or her own. A kitchen and restaurant tour with stops by the cooking line and the walk-in refrigerators finished the day. Children left with full stomachs, goodie bags, and an empanada for the road.
